Gillian Bartlett has been writing professionally for over 20 years. She began her career as a singer, songwriter in the UK in the 1980s before becoming an arts journalist and magazine editor. Over the past seven years, she has written and produced over 200 hours of factual entertainment shows for cable television for both the Australian and overseas markets. She has also worked for Channel Seven, Channel Nine and SBS as a writer/ producer. Her first produced short film script Your Turn premiered at the 2008 Palm Springs International Short Film Festival, while her second script Just Desserts was fully funded by Film Victoria, screening at Newport Beach Film Festival, Hollyshorts, Interfilm Berlin amongst others. She currently works for TV production company WTFN as a development producer. Possession is Gillian’s first feature film.

 

 

Donna Lyon graduated from the producer’s course at The Victorian College of the Arts in 2006 during which she produced two award winning short films The Postman and Filled with Water. Since then, she has worked on The Pacific, assisting the co-producer and was production manager at award winning independent production company Circe Films. In 2008 she produced the short film Your Turn, which premiered at the Palm Springs International Short Film Festival and Market. Donna worked as production manager on the AFC and Film Victoria funded short film Love Apples, was post-production manager on the feature documentary Lionel and producer for Colour Me Film & TV  (corporate documentaries and commercials). She has produced hours of factual entertainment/ magazine style entertainment series for the Australian and overseas market with production company Bam Boom Entertainment and most recently has been working in the online space producing content and Internet marketing for local businesses in Victoria, along with lecturing in production management.

She is developing a slate of projects with business partner Gillian, including a low budget feature film and television series.
